What is your visitation policy?

The following visitation options are available at our healthcare center:

  1. Essential Caregiver Visitation
  2. Virtual Visitation
  3. End of Life Visitation

Pending approval from Texas Health and Human Services the following visitation options may be available:

  1. Outdoor Visitation
  2. Indoor Plexiglass Visitation
  3. Vehicle Parades

We provide free COVID testing to Essential Caregivers. Each type of visit has its own requirements.

What measures are you taking to protect residents from COVID-19?

We have an extensive, company-wide infection and prevention control program in place at our healthcare center to protect residents, their families and our staff. Please see our COVID-19 Response Plan.

What is your White Glove Program?

Our 3 White Glove Inspectors visit each of our healthcare centers at least twice per year to ensure that the buildings are meeting our extremely high standard of Creative Solutions Clean. The White Glove team reviews the building inside and out with a special focus on healthcare center kitchens. They grade each healthcare center on a scale from 0 -100. They identify opportunities for improvement and provide training and support to our skilled Environmental Services Supervisors.

Can I take a personal tour of the home?

At this time, we are only able to offer virtual tours. You can find a location to view our gallery on our home page. We have a Facebook page that is updated frequently with photos that showcase the community and activities taking place throughout the week.

What should I consider when looking for a home for my loved one?

Here are a few things to consider when looking for a home for your loved one:

  • A safe and secure environment
  • Specific care needs that your loved one requires
  • Highest standards for cleanliness
  • A quality dietary program that offers healthy meals with fresh ingredients
  • An engaging and enriching activity program
  • Frequent communications between staff and families
What care options are available?

We offer a variety of care options at our facilities including short-term care, long-term care, assisted living, memory care, respite care and ventilation care.

How do I know if my loved one needs to be placed in a nursing home?

Your loved one may need a skilled nursing stay if they:

  • Cannot take care of themselves due to a physical, emotional or mental problem
  • Bathing, eating, and other personal needs become hard for the individual to take care of
  • Requires more care and attention than a caregiver can provide
  • Might wander away if not supervised by a caregiver
  • Discharged from the hospital and requires temporary skilled nursing care before returning home or to a residential home
  • Was recommended to be placed in a nursing home by a doctor or other physician
How do I pay for nursing home care?

We work to provide creative solutions assisting you with paying for our services. Our staff can walk you through the process of obtaining Medicaid or Medicare funding. Our benefits are verified by subject matter experts with extensive knowledge in long-term and short-term care coverage. We will help you take full advantage of your unique plan benefits. We strive to make you aware of your coverage limits to advance, helping you make the best financial decisions for your care. Our goal is full financial transparency.

How do I choose the right community?

Every home is unique. They each have different strengths and some homes have a special focus or
provide specialty services. The best way to know if our community is right for your loved one is to reach out to us directly.

What is an “Essential Caregiver”?

One of two designated visitors, who receive training on Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) that can
meet privately, one-on-one with a resident.
These designated visitors can be changed as needed. Both Essential Caregivers and residents must be COVID negative. We will provide free COVID testing to Essential Caregivers.

What are the requirements for an Essential Caregiver Visit?
  • Scheduled Appointment
  • Recent COVID negative test result- the healthcare center will provide this test free of charge.
  • Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) training. The healthcare center will provide this training on
    the first visit
  • PPE worn throughout visit
  • Escorted to and from meeting space
What type of Virtual Visitation do you offer?

Each healthcare center offers FaceTime, Google Duo, and Zoom calls. We can also connect you to your loved one by phone at any time. To schedule your virtual visit, please call us directly.

Are there limits on when I can visit?

We will work with you to ensure you’re able to see your loved one as regularly as you would like. We may have some limitations on the length of visits or time of day. These are to ensure that visits are comfortable and safe for all.

When can I come visit my loved one?

Essential Caregiver visits can begin on the first day of admission. All visits are by appointment only- to ensure that we can accommodate visitation comfortably and safely for all of our residents.

Virtual visits can be scheduled at any time. Other types of visits must first be approved by Texas Health and Human Services, and then are by appointment only. To schedule your visit or to learn more, contact us

How can I show my COVID negative status for my Essential Caregiver visit?

We will test you on-site, free of charge. They will keep a record of your results and test you as regularly as required.

What is an “Indoor Plexiglass Visit”?

An indoor plexiglass visit is a visit between a resident and one or more visitors, during which the resident and the visitors are both inside the facility but within a booth separated by a plexiglass barrier. These visits are only offered if first approved by Texas Health and Human Services.

What can I expect during an Outdoor Visit?

A personal visit between a resident and one or more personal visitors occurs in-person in a dedicated outdoor space. Physical and social distancing will be required throughout the visit. Our healthcare centers will bring your loved one to and from the meeting space. Typically, our teams will provide comfortable seating options and refreshments to ensure that you and your loved one are comfortable. These visits are only offered if approved by Texas Health and Human Services.

How can I participate in, or throw a Vehicle Parade?

Contact us. We will work with you to schedule a time for you (and your friends and family) drive by,
wave, and spread cheer. These visits are only offered if approved by Texas Health and Human Services.
